Based in Greensboro, North Carolina, Piedmont Center for Sustainability serves communities throughout the Piedmont region of the eastern United States through practical education, community collaboration, fundraising events, and outreach that helps people put sustainable ideas into practice.

Our current priorities

• Practical educationOffer workshops, demonstrations, and accessible resources focused on sustainable living.
• Food and land stewardshipSupport community learning around gardening, resilient food systems, and responsible care for the land.
• Community-based outreachDevelop education and outreach capacity at partner locations, including Collective Spaces Farm in Halifax County.
• Responsible fundraising eventsPresent mission-supporting events with experienced, contracted producers and clear nonprofit stewardship.
• Local collaborationWork with farms, venues, educators, makers, and organizers whose efforts complement the PCS mission.
• Long-term capacityBuild the partnerships, volunteer base, and organizational resources needed for durable programs.
